Basket Of Love|January 16th 2012|Water For Life Now Ministry

January 16th 2012
The “Water for Life Now” Ministry went into the City of Tampa to continue following the LORD's command, ministering to the hungry and homeless.
There was a sweet addition today, “Baskets of Love”. These were baked Banana Muffins (offered in baskets) that was given and received so eagerly by those in need.
John whom  we’d mentioned earlier wanted Blueberry muffins so I promised him that he’ll have his request next week. He is still skipping and so full of joy. John is changing: He has cut off his braids/locks and is visibly happy. He was able to obtain a temporary place to sleep, and has paid in advance. Glory to God. This is the young man who was contemplating suicide. God is so very faithful. He was told that he will be adorned in a suit and will be preaching the word of God to others: Guess what? He did not deny nor was uncomfortable with those words, in fact he agreed: please, please continue to pray for him.
Our Luci needs prayers, I didn't see her: she was sitting in a different spot . I did meet another young lady, who was openly rolling a joint.
These people have a lot of strongholds in their lives, and it’s going to take consistent, and persistent prayers for their deliverance.
Ms Matilda is steadily waiting for her “New” Computer, she has not failed to thank me daily in claiming it for her: I’m believing God that she will have this Computer before the end of January. If there’s anyone out there who would like to donate a computer for this lady, she would be so grateful. She told me over and over again what a Blessing that would  be to her, The Computer she had before was 16 years old. She said she would be able to do contribute her time and do so much for the homeless. (Remember she was in the same position being homeless only 5 years ago.
There’s a lot to be done, and it shall be done as we take up the mantle to be committed Ambassadors of the LORD. Amen!

Giving Coins

For several months I have been putting my spare change into a piggy bank. For years, I have been trying to save some money for a trip to England. It has been a dream of mine since I was eight years old. The piggy bank was purchased several years ago and was decorated with the word "England" on it. A few months ago, I decided to get more serious about filling up that piggy bank. I announced to my family that when the piggy bank was filled up, I was going to England and they, of course, were going with me. I knew that even when the piggy bank was full, I would still need more monies to make the trip. Somehow I would find the money.

My children and I began putting different coins into the bank. It slowly began to fill up. When it was about two thirds full about one month ago, I began to visualize the plane trip, the hotel and all of the sites that we were going to see. I was definitely getting closer to fulfilling my longtime dream.

In the meantime, I decided to help out with the ministry, Water for Life Now , that my good friend, Ms. Tassel Daley had begun a few months ago. She has been giving out bottles of water to the homeless and saying prayers with them. Two weeks ago, I went with her and a group of people to hand out water , blankets, prayers and blessings. It was truly a remarkable experience. Our family also donated several blankets to the homeless.

Shortly after helping out Ms. Daley, I woke up in the early hours of the morning. I received a prompting to donate the contents of the piggy bank to the homeless. I knew that this prompting came from God, but what about my trip? I now believe that God was telling me that I could not go to England at this time. I knew I had to do this so about two days later, I began to shake out the contents of the piggy bank. After emptying the last coin into a plastic bag, I took the contents to the bank. The total of the coins amounted to $41.00. I delivered the dollars to Ms. Daley.

2 Corinthians 9:7 Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

She is already putting the money to good use. A wonderful man who was formerly depressed and frustrated from being homeless, has now risen up through her ministries, found a job, and is moving forward with his life. I have since learned that part of the monies donated is helping him with transportation. To think that a few coins could make a difference in someone's life. We are already putting more coins into that piggy bank to donate in the future.

I recognized my prompting through a Christian book recently read called Promptings found through www.appreciationgreetings.com . Blessings to all.

I lived yesterday all over again: just remembering what GOD did yesterday. I'm excited!!
JANUARY 11TH 2012
Isa 41:17-20
17 When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.
This scripture really came alive today as we the people God chose to help those in need to manifest HIS blessings.
As “The Water for Life Now” ambassadors ventured into the street of Tampa with the “Anointed Water” of the Lord, we prayed and ask God to manifest HIS presence on this special day. The day actually started out very rainy: we could have easily canceled the trip, but no, we persisted, and knew that GOD had something special for this the day that HE made.
John, a young man that we prayed for several weeks ago, met the truck with a joy in his heart. He was so thrilled to see us. He told us that he was getting his own place, and he was grateful for all the prayers. He had recently been employed, something we prayed for. He told me that he was contemplating suicide over the Christmas holiday. He was given a love letter from God to encourage him.God heard his cry and our prayers, and reached down and snatched him out of the hands of the enemy, and saved his life through prayers…..what a testimony. He (John) vowed to give an offering from his first pay-check to help others.
Another wonderful testimony was from a young lady that was extremely sick: she met us and was overjoyed to give us a praise report from her Doctor: she will not be taking any more medication for her condition…….no doubt the Anointed water of God cured her, and she acknowledged it, and was grateful.
There was also Luci: who was so down-trodden when last I saw her, she didn't’t want to speak to me. As I continued to pray in the Spirit and let her know I was not leaving, I asked if she had a prayer request. She opened up and said she needs me to pray for her mind. She was all alone, she does have a sister, but they are not on speaking terms.
Well GOD has been working in Luci’s mind because, when I saw her today she had a different mind-set. She had a smile on her face, told me that she spoke to her family in Haiti , and I should continue to keep her in prayer.
Now this is the “Greatest” testimony of the day. God met us and answered a prayer that was ushered up to HIM on the way. We asked the LORD to raise up someone in the midst that had a passion for these special ones. We didn't’t give any specifics, because GOD knows everything we need before we even ask, and HE always gives us abundantly, more than we could ever ask for or think of. Glory to God.
We were approaching the Shelter (to get some information) where these people sleeps if they can afford to pay the $10.00 that’s needed. If they don”t have the $10.00 for a night to sleep inside they have to without a choice sleep outside on the ground, or in the bushes.
In approaching the Building there was a lady descending the steps with a young child in her arms: the Holy Sprit said: go and speak with that person, obediently I obeyed and what a blessing we all shared, just for being obedient to the voice of GOD.
This woman (Matilda) was a former person (5 years ago) who had to live a life similar to these people. She was so excited when we told her why we come down to that location, and what we do. She said she has been praying and asking the Lord to bless her so that one day she would be able to purchase a building to house these people. She also said that today she was not leaving her house to come down to this location.: but GOD told her to get up get dress, and go….we were all convinced that our meeting each other was a “Divine Intervention” that came about out of our obedience to the voice of GOD.
This woman was telling us that her daughter who is now 5 years old asked her why these people are all sleeping on the streets, and where do they live? …..she told her daughter that (5) years ago she and Mommy was right here, just as these people are today: as a matter of fact she shared that her daughter who was only (3) months at the time was the very first baby that the Shelter ever accepted. Her daughter was drawn to tears and told her Mommy that when she grows up she’s going to buy a big house so everyone can have a bed, and doesn't”t have to sleep on the ground.
Out of the mouth of babes was my heartfelt reaction. What a blessing. Matilda gave us her phone number, her address, and, made us promise to keep in touch, she wants to meet us whenever we return to the area. She really is in need of a Computer. For someone with the passion Matilda has for the LORD, GOD is going to give her the desires of her heart sooner than she think.
I just give all the Glory to GOD who made heaven and earth, and Blesses HIS children abundantly. THERE IS NO GOD LIKE OUR GOD……………………………………Amen!!

O God, you are my God. For you I long. For you my body yearns; for you my soul thirsts; Like a land parched, lifeless and without water.

Water For Life Now Ministry| The Homeless | Tampa Bay 1/2/12|Young Man Refrained from Committing Suicide

Water For Life Now Ministry|   The Homeless | Tampa Bay 1/2/12|Young Man Refrained from Committing Suicide

Today tears almost fell from my eyes. I give God praise that I obeyed his call to minister to the homeless.
As I alighted  from my transportation  to day John a homeless man ran to greet me with open arms.

I ran toward him with  open arms also. We hugged. He looked me in my eyes and said. You are the reason why I am alive. I asked him why. He replied that he was about to commit suicide but he refrained from doing so because I made him feel like somebody. I made him  feel loved.

John is a homeless homosexual who is young talented and handsome. He told me that his family abandoned him because of his life style. I told him few weeks before that God loved him. He asked for prayers. He invited Jesus in his heart. Please continue to pray for John.

John was the one who asked us to bring blankets for the homeless. As a result of this during Christmas week we gave away blankets to the homeless.

We now want to thank  you, our  partners for your donations and continued support of the Water For Life Now Ministry
John is now working as a telemarketer. He sleeps at the salvation army at nights.
We pray that this  young man will become what God has planned for him before the foundation of this world

More exciting news. Two homeless men invited Jesus into their heart today. Several of them requested prayers for work.

Please pray for:
Ron,  Detroit , John, Zee, Frank and Cliff.

God bless you all.
